Meet Bekka, the Visionary Behind the Brand

In 2009, Bekka’s journey in hairstyling began when she attended Paul Mitchell School in Missouri. After graduating, she relocated to the Dallas area, starting her career from the ground up. She would often spend long hours waiting for just one client to walk through the door.

However, by 2017, her dedication and passion for the industry had grown her business to a fully booked clientele, often working 8-10 hour days. She knew it was time for the next step. Bekka and her husband, Blake, found the perfect space in a 1901 craftsman style home. They renovated it, turning part of the home into a salon. Along with her friend Regina, they continued to grow and built a thriving business. As demand grew, Bekka added two more hires to her team. But as the space became more cramped, they set out on a search for a larger location.

In 2023, they found and renovated a commercial building in the heart of downtown Wylie, which became the new Lou+Be salon.

In 2024, the new location was completed and Bekka added 2 more girls to the team.

Bekka is deeply grateful for what God has blessed her with along the way and is excited about what the future holds. She couldn’t have done it without all the support and loyalty of clients throughout the years. She STILL has clients (friends really) that have followed her around from the early days of 2009.
